WHAT
Waverlylabs’ Pilot is an in-ear language translator Indiegogo project (USD3M so far) due to ship May 2017.
HOW
Wearable technology using speech recognition, machine translation, and voice synthesis. Your voice is passed through the smartphone app which simultaneously translated. It works offline too. It’s manufactured nearby in Shenzhen.
