Social Innovation Camp Hong Kong will be brought to you by Startupshk, Softlayer and Bonza Pie. From 27th September – 29th September 2013, bringing some of the best of Hong Kong’s software developers and designers, to meet those at the sharp end of social problems.
They’ll have just 48 hours to build some web/mobile-based solutions to a set of social problems – from back-of-the-envelope ideas that could change the world into social start-ups – complete with working software. But first off, they start with a call for ideas: they want to find the most exciting ideas of how the web/mobile could produce change that really matters.
In addition, this year working with UNDP Global Centre for Public Service. They’ll be looking out for ideas on how to improve public services using web/mobile platforms. At least one of these will make the eventual six ideas chosen to be worked on during the weekend of Social Innovation Camp Hong Kong.
